Teodoro Cabral

Teodoro M. Cabral, 91, of Pecos passed away on March 10, 2022, in Pecos, TX.

Teodoro M. Cabral was born in Fresnillo, Zacatecas, to Camilo and Vicenta Cabral on May 20, 1930. He married the one and only love of his life, Consuelo Cabral, in 1953. He loved spending time with all his family, telling stories, and had a great sense of humor. Teodoro was a lifetime Pecos resident and a Catholic. He worked as a carpenter for road and bridge construction for many years and was a member of the Lions Club. His hobbies included gardening, playing Bingo, and cheering for his favorite team the San Francisco 49ers. He also enjoyed watching soccer, boxing, and caring for his beloved and dedicated dog Chata.

Teodoro M. Cabral is preceded in death by his wife Consuelo, his parents, grandchildren Julian, Gabriella and Daniella Cabral, brother Pedro Cabral, sisters Juana Delgado, Ricarda Cabral, and Maria Cabral. Teodoro is survived by his daughters Rosemary Varela (Lupe Carrasco), Lydia Secor (Michael), Mary Tarango (Gaston – deceased), his sons Theodore Cabral, Jr. (Marie) and Manuel Cabral (Marisela), his brothers Eliseo, Luciano, Jose, and Margarito Cabral, and his sister Teresa Guerrero.

His pride and joys were his grandchildren Frances Varela, Teddy Cabral, Brenden Cabral, Joshua Cabral, Miranda, Whitney, Micah, and Elizabeth Secor, Mateo Tarango, Marissa Tarango, Amanda Cabral, Beto Cabral, and great-grandchildren Alejandra Varela, Ariana, Anthony, Natalia, Mya, and Ellie Cabral, Jacob Secor, Keelie and Kylie Sparkman, and other numerous grandchildren and great-grandchildren that he loved including many nieces, nephews, and cousins that also survive him.

Pallbearers will be Beto Cabral, Teddy Cabral, Jacob Secor, Johnny Herrera, and Sheriff Art Granado.

Visitation will be on Monday, March 14, 2022, from 9:00 a.m. to 9:00 p.m. The Rosary will be recited at 7:30 p.m. at Peaceful Gardens Funeral Home. Funeral services will be Tuesday, March 15, 2022, at 10:00 a.m., at Santa Rosa De Lima Catholic Church, burial will follow at Greenwood Cemetery, and reception following the burial at St. Catherine Hall.
