Santiago Alvarez Ornelas, 87 of Pecos, Texas passed away on Thursday, June 8, 2023 in Odessa, Tx. He was born in San Juan Chihuahua, Mexico on July 24, 1935 to Jose Najar Ornelas and Benigna Alvarez Ornelas. Santiago was a Catholic and a life time Pecos resident.
Santiago A. Ornelas is preceded in death by his spouse Catarina Orona Ornelas, son Leonel O. Ornelas and parents Jose Najar Ornelas and Benigna Alvarez Ornelas.
Santiago is survived by sons; Daniel Ornelas (Crissy L. Ornelas) Santiago A. Ornelas Jr (Claudia J. Ornelas), Jesse Ornelas all of Odessa, Tx., 3 granddaughters, 3 grandsons, 17 great-grandchildren.
Visitation will be held on Thursday, June 15, 2023 from 9 am to 9 pm with rosary at 7 pm at Peaceful Garden Funeral Home.
Funeral Mass will be held at Santa Rosa Catholic Church on Friday, June 16, 2023 at 10 am with Interment following at Greenwood Cemetery.
Pallbearers will be Grandsons; Jesse Ornelas Jr, Matthew Ornelas, Lupe Garza, Aaron Arroyo, and Nephews: Alejandro Lujan, Manuel Pena
Peaceful Garden Funeral Home is handling the Funeral Arrangements.
