Ruben Ortega, 48, of Pecos Tx, passed away on February 9, 2024 in Pecos Tx.

Visitation will be 9AM - 9PM on Wednesday, February 14, 2024 at Peaceful Garden Funeral Home with a Prayer Service to be held at 7 PM

Funeral services will be held at 11AM Thursday, February 15, 2024 at Peaceful Garden. It will be officiated by Lee Serrano of Word of Hope. Burial will be followed at Greenwood cemetery. Arrangements are by Peaceful Garden Funeral Home.

Ruben Ortega was born in Pecos, Tx to Irma & Guadalupe Ortega on August 22, 1975. He went to school at Pecos High School. He loved baseball so much he helped the Pecos High School baseball team for 20 years.

Ruben Ortega is preceded in death by his parents Irma & Guadalupe Ortega.

Ruben Ortega is survived by his siblings Dolores Ortega of Cleveland, Tx, Guadalupe Ortega Jr. of Barstow, Tx, Estella Mendoza & Cynthia Sandoval of Pecos Tx. Followed by many nieces and nephews.

Pallbearers will be as followed: Colt Salgado, Nicolas Bustamante, Damian Lujan, Jeremiah Tarin, Adryiel Torres, Elijah Contreras, Brandon Matta & Coach Bueno from the Pecos baseball team.
