Ruben V Lujan

Ruben V. Lujan, 88, of Pecos, Texas, passed away on August 29, 2023 in Pecos, Texas.

Ruben Lujan was born in Mexico to Juan and Irene Lujan on March 10, 1933.  He married Lucila Lujan on July 4, 1963 in Mexico.  He was baptized as one of Jehovah’s Witness on July 23, 1988.

Ruben is preceded in death by his parents Juan and Irene Lujan, and brother Alejo Lujan.

Ruben is survived by his sons; Ruben Lujan Jr. (Maria Rios) of Pecos, Tx and Edgar Lujan (Raquel Lujan) of Little Elm, Tx, daughters; Gloria Lujan of Pecos, Cynthia Contreras (Pete Contreras) of Abilene, Tx., Damaris Urias (Rigo Urias) of Pecos, Dania Talamantes (Nicholas Talamantes) of San Antonio, Tx., brothers; Alonso Lujan and Ismael Lujan both of Pecos, and Juan Lujan of Odessa, Tx., sisters; Socorro Ontiveros and Luz Hinojos of Pecos.  He is also survived by 13 grandchildren and 2 great-grandchildren.

Visitation will be August 30, 2023 at Pecos Funeral Home from 9:30 AM to 9:00 PM.

Funeral services will be held at 10:00 AM on August 31, 2023 at Pecos Funeral Home with Alberto Suchil officiating. Burial will follow at Greenwood Cemetery.

Pallbearers will be Elijah Jones, Edgar Lujan, Pete Contreras, Isaiah Contreras, Gary Carter, and Rigo Urias.
