Surrounded by his children and wife, Robert "Betico" Chavez Natividad, 69, of Pecos, went to be with our Lord on August 20, 2021.
Robert was a prominent figure in the town of Pecos, not only because of his contagious personality, but for his indispensable giving ways. His love of carpentry and willingness to assist anyone in need can be seen throughout the town of Pecos, He enjoyed volunteering for the community and church events, had a passion for sharing his wealth of knowledge and teaching young men his trade, and he was undoubtedly one of the kindest, high spirited friend to all, even strangers. When not found working, Robert truly enjoyed spending time with the family and friends. There are no words to describe the devotion he had for his wife, children, siblings, and those who befriended him. He enjoyed woodwork, camping, and anything outdoors. He had a heart of gold and never faltered in giving assistance where needed. He was definitely known as the "go-to" for all Cowboy games as he hosted gatherings each game day and welcomed anyone into his home to share the camaraderia. Robert had such an extraordinary soul to say he will be missed is truly and understatement. We all have a beautiful angel looking over us each day.
