Robert A. Ramirez, 67 of Pecos, passed away peacefully in his home, on Monday, February 1st, 2021 in Pecos, Texas.
Robert was born in Big Spring,Tx. to Jesus and Ruth Ramirez on November 10, 1953. He attended school in Big Spring, Tx. He worked as shop mechanic, a welder, and worked at Pennzoil Sulphur for over 20 years. He enjoyed watching western movies, reading the bible, being around family also enjoyed arts and crafts and most of all enjoyed drinking his favorite beverage Keystone Light.
Robert is preceded in death by his parents Jesus and Ruth Ramirez, His beloved wife of 30 years Rachel Hinojos Ramirez, his brothers Jesus Ramirez Jr, Carlos Abreo and Abel Ramirez. His sisters, Ester Ramirez, Yolanda Ramirez.
Robert is survived by his companion/Sweetheart Kathy Hurley.
Two sons, Robert Ramirez Jr and wife Frances from San Angelo, Tx. Alvaro Hinojos and wife Connie from Pecos, Tx.
Three daughters Naomi Matta and husband Hector, Prissy Ramirez and husband Oscar, Rebecca Gonzalez and husband Angel all from Pecos and Ann Berlen Armendariz, from New Mexico.
His brothers Joe Cadenhead from Big Spring Texas. His sisters, Josephine Meister from Lancaster, California, Belma Madrid and Margie Rodriguez from Big Spring. Celia Puga from Austin, Texas.
He is also survived by 19 Grandchildren, 17 Great Grandchildren and several family members of Pecos.
Viewing will be Saturday, February 6, 2021 from 9:00 a.m. to 1:00 p.m. at Pecos Funeral Home Chapel, with Funeral service at 2:00 p.m. Interment will follow at Mt. Evergreen Cemetery. Services are under the direction of Pecos and Peaceful Garden Funeral Homes.
Pallbearers will be Jeremy Ramirez, Zackary Ramirez, Brandon Ramirez, Justin Ramirez, Jayden Ramirez, Jay Hinojos, Jake Lopez and Chris Carrasco.

DUE TO COVID-19 ONLY 50 IMMEDIATE FAMILY MEMBERS ARE PERMITTED AT FUNERAL HOME, MASKS AND SOCIAL DISTANCING IE REQUIRED AT ALL TIMES, AND AT CEMETERY FAMILY AND FRIENDS ARE INVITED WITH SOCIAL DISTANCING AND WEARING MASKS.
