Robert Garcia

Robert L. Garcia 67, of Pecos passed away Monday January 6, 2020 in Pecos, Tx. He was born June 22, 1952 to Manuel M. Garcia and Lola Lara Garcia in Pecos, Tx. He was a retired telephone operator and a Christian Catholic and a Guadalupano.

Preceding him in death is his father Manuel M. Garcia, brother Ralph L. Garcia, niece Hope Harcrow, and nephews Angel Garcia and Omar Leyva.

Robert enlisted in the US Army and was stationed in Kentucky until he was Honorably discharged because of his illness.

He worked for the Contel Communications Company for 30 years until he retired. He loved fishing, dancing, and running around with his friends. He will truly be missed.

Surviving him is his mother Lolita Garcia of Pecos, Tx., sisters Rebecca Harcrow of Pecos, Tx., and Rosie Leyva and husband John of El Paso, Tx., brother Rudy L. Garcia and wife Frances from Alpine, Tx.

Robert leaves to cherish his memories numerous nieces and nephews.

Visitation has been set for Sunday January 12, 2020 from 3pm to 9pm and Monday January 13, 2020 from 9am to 9pm with rosary at 7:30pm at Peaceful Garden Funeral Home Chapel.

Mass has been set for 10am Tuesday January 14, 2020 at Santa Rosa Catholic Church with Father Paul Matta officiating.

Cremation will follow.
