Regina Portillo - Cordero, 51 of Balmorhea, Texas passed away on Tuesday, October 19, 2021 in Barstow, Texas. Regina was born on August 13, 1970 to David Leo Portillo and Eva Contreras Portillo in Woodland, California. She went to school in Balmorhea, Texas, she was a LVN, lifetime Balmorhea, Texas resident and a Catholic.

Regina is preceded in death by her father; David Leo Portillo, grandparens; Juan and Sylvia Portillo and Tomas and Ruby Contreras.

Regina is survived by her husband; Jorge Cordero, mother; Eva Portillo, son; Nigiel Lozano, daughters; Tia and Sasha Lozano and Adrianna Rubio, sisters; Michelle and Jessica Portillo, brothers; David Leo Portillo Jr. and Gerald Portillo, 5 nephews and 8 nieces, 1 great niece and 1 great nephew.

Pallbearers will be Mario Martinez II, John Paul Pargas, Ernet Pargas, David Portillo Jr., Cito Portillo, Gerald Portillo, Leslie Denton.

Honorary Pallbearers will be  Mateo Martinez, Mario Martinez III and Casey Ramos

Visitation will be held at Peaceful Garden Funeral Home Chapel on 116 w. 4th.. St. in Pecos, Tx. on Monday, October 25, 2021 from 9 am to 9 pm with rosary at 7 pm, masks are to be worn at all times. Funeral Service will be at 10 am at the Christ The King Catholic Church in Balmorhea, Tx. Interment will follow after the service at Saragosa Cemetery, in Saragosa, Tx.
