Refugia Hinojos

Refugia Tarango Hinojos, 73, of Pecos, Tx. passed away on Wednesday, May 31, 2023. Refugia was born in Saragosa, Tx. to Alejandro Tarango and Juanita Lujan Tarango on July 4, 1949. She went to school in Saragosa, Tx. She married Reynaldo Hinojos on October 3, 1970 in Pecos, Tx., Refugia worked as a caregiver for many years.

Refugia Tarango Hinojos is preceded in death by her husband Reynaldo Salgado Hinojos, parents Alejandro and Juanita Tarango, brothers Domigo Tarango, and Alfonso Tarango.

Refugia Tarango Hinojos is survived by her sons; Oswaldo Hinojs, Herbey Hinojos, Omar Hinojos, and daughter; Laura Guevarra, 10 grandcildren, 2 great grandchildren, sisters; Aurora Jurado, Barbra Garza, Ezperanza Muniz, brother; Raul Tarango.

Visitation will be held on Friday, June 2, 2023 from 4pm to 9pm at Peaceful Garden Funeral Home on 116 W. 4th. St. in Pecos, Tx.

Funeral Service will be held on Saturday, June 3, 2023 at 10 am at Peaceful Garden Funeral Home, Interment following the service will be at Mt. Evergreen Cemetery.

Pallbearers will be Herman Garza, Cayden Hinojos, Cristian Hinojos, Ramon Jurado, Zander Hinojos

Arrangements are being handled by Peaceful Garden Funeral Home.
