Ramona Vargas Galindo

Ramona “Camo” Vargas Galindo, 92, of Pecos TX, Passed away on November 9, 2022 in Pecos, Texas.

Visitation for Ramona will be held on Tuesday, November 15, 2022 from 9:00am – 9:00pm at Peaceful Garden Funeral Home with a Rosary to be recited at 7:00pm.

Funeral Mass will be celebrated on Wednesday, November 16, 2022 at 10:00 am at Santa Rosa Catholic Church in Pecos, Texas. Burial will follow at Green Wood Cemetery.

Ramona was born in Presidio Texas on December 24, 1929 to Ramon and Refugia Vargas, she went to school in Shafter Texas. She was married to Estanislado “Tanis” Galindo, she was a homemaker. Ramona was a devout catholic as she was a Crusieta, Guadalupana and a Eucharist Minister.

She is preceded in death by her husband; Estanislado Galindo, Parents; Ramon and Refugia Vargas, Sister; Manuela Galindo, Brother; Jesus Vargas, Son; Ted Galindo and Grandson; Jerrick Galindo.

She is survived by her children: Elida G. “Nacho” Ybarra, Sylvia G. “Robert Sr” Lopez, George V. Galindo, Stevie V. (Gina) Galindo, JoAnn G. (Joe) Jasso, God Daughter Angie Fierro and Adopted son Johnny Bailon.  Grandchildren; Robert “Marcia” Lopez Jr, Yvette “Ramon” Barrera, Rose “Larry” Campbell, Isaac “Pat” Lopez, Dominique “Teresa” Florez, Navar “Joanna” Galindo, James “Aliyah” Galindo, Jacob Ornelas, Hailey Ornelas and Alexa Jasso. Great Grandchildren: Kassandra “George” Pena, Ramon Barrera, Kaitlyn “Michael” Melendrez, Nathaniel “Brianna Solis” Barrera, Jacqueline Valenzuela, Aliyah “Nick” Pressnall, Nevaeh Fierro, Destini “Cruz” Ornelas, Isabella Lopez, Karinna Barrera, Isaac Lopez Jr, Zachary Lopez, Lawrence Campbell III, Natalea Campbell, Cristal Lopez, Nathaniel Lopez, Ezekiel Florez, Emmy Galindo, John Constancio, Nova Mata. Great Great Grandchildren; Zayvian Pena, Joey Melendrez, Danny Melendrez, Caleb Valenzuela, Aeson Ornelas, Magnolia Melendrez, Jazzleana Pena, Camila Melendrez, Kyson Ornelas.
