Mauricio Roque

Mauricio Adalberto Roque, 48 of Pecos, passed away on November 30, 2022 in the town of Pecos.

Visitation will be held on Monday, December 5, 2022 from 9:00 am - 9:00 pm at Peaceful Garden Funeral Home with a Rosary to be recited at 7:00 pm.

Funeral Mass will be celebrated on Tuesday, December 6, 2022 at 10:00 am at Santa Rosa De Lima Catholic Church.

Burial will follow at Greenwood Cemetery.

Mauricio was born in San Antonio to Leticia Marquez and Jose Luis Roque on October 5,1974. Mauricio was raised in Odessa by Jaime and Leticia Marquez.  He went to school in Odessa Tx. He married Christina Sotelo, and had been married for 21 Great years. They moved to Pecos Texas in 2015 and raised their 2 daughters where he resided the rest of his life . He worked as a welder/mechanic  for Lazy S. He loved to cook as well as to plant flowers and trees. He also loved spending time cooking out and hanging out with family and friends.

Survivors include his wife Christina Sotelo daughters Alyssa Roque, Alexandra  Rodriguez, Breanna Rodriguez, Mavel Zubia and two sons Alex and Evan Roque, 8 grandchildren, four brothers Edward Roque, Edgar Roque, Chris Marquez, Joe Roque and four sisters Esmy Ramirez, Crystal, Angie, Priscilla Roque. His parents Jaime and Leticia Marquez and Jose Roque and numerous nephews and nieces.

Mauricio is preceded in death by His brother Luis Roque, Grandmother Juana Colunga and cousin Jason Guerra

Pallbearers will be Edward Roque, Edgar Roque, Chris Marquez, Danny Sotelo, Joe Mendoza, Julio Flotte, Sammy Villegas, Edgar Jr Roque, Benny Munoz, and Justice Ramirez
