Maria Ortiz

Maria Ortiz 78, of Pecos, passed away Tuesday June 18, 2019 at Pecos Nursing Home. She was born September 26, 1940 in La Colonia Del Pueblito Aldama Chihuahua, Mexico to Concepcion Ramirez and Juliana Gonzalez. She was a homemaker and a Christian Catholic. Maria is preceded in death by her parents, husband Faustino Ortiz, son Lazaro Manuel Ortiz, great granddaughter Delyza Hernandez Ortiz sister Liberada Del Hierro Ortiz and brothers Concepcion, Flavio and Blas Ramirez.

Mrs. Ortiz is survived by daughters Isela Ortiz and husband Osvaldo Hernandez of Pecos, Tx and Lorena Ortiz of Odessa, Tx. sons Roberto Ortiz and wife Ana, Martin Ortiz and wife Cathy all of Pecos, Tx. sisters Manuela Ramirez of Odessa, Tx. Maria de Jesus Cano and husband Jose, Martha Ramirez all of Ojinaga, Chihuahua. brothers Vicente Ramirez and wife Ermelinda of Marble Falls, Guadalupe Ramirez and wife Manuela Salcido of Presidio, Tx. and Jose Ramirez of Chihuahua, Mexico. Maria also leaves to cherish her memories 8 grandchildren and 8 great-grandchildren

The Ortiz family wishes to express a most sincere thank you to the Pecos Hospice Nursing staff for the special care that was provided to Maria during her stay.

Visitation is set for Wednesday June 19, 2019 from 12pm-9pm and Thursday June 20, 2019 from 9am-9pm with a rosary at 7:30 pm at Peaceful Garden Funeral Home chapel.

Mass has been set for 12pm noon, Friday June 21, 2019 at Santa Rosa de Lima Catholic Church.

Burial will follow at Greenwood cemetery.
