Maria Franco

Maria Franco 82, of Pecos, passed away Tuesday August 27, 2019 at Medical Center Hospital in Odessa. She was born May 10, 1937 in Presidio, Tx to Santiago Tarin and Benita Acosta. She married Martin Franco July 4th _1963 in_Pecos. She was a homemaker and a Christian Catholic. Maria is preceded in death by her parents, sisters Ester and Tomasa Tarin and brother Ruben Tarin.

Mrs. Franco is survived by her husband Martin Franco of Pecos, Tx daughters Lupe Ornelas and husband Luis of Odessa, Tx. Delfa Ramirez and husband Eugene of Pecos, Tx., Erica Marie Tarin of Nampa, Idaho and Jessica Ann Alvarado of Odessa, Tx. son Martin Franco Jr and girlfriend Laura of Pecos, Tx. sister Juanita Rico and husband Frank of Barstow, TX. brothers James Tarin and Jesse Tarin and wife Pat all of Pecos, Tx.

Maria loved working in her garden and was an avid seamstress. But her best time was spending it with her grandchildren whom she dearly loved.

Maria also leaves to cherish her memories 13 grandchildren, 10 great- grandchildren and 5 great-great grandchildren.

The Franco family wishes to express a most sincere thank you to the Focus Care of Pecos and Madison Nursing Home Nursing staff for the special care that was provided to Mom during her stay.

Visitation is set for Thursday August 29, 2019 from 9am-9pm with a rosary at 7:30 pm at Peaceful Garden Funeral Home chapel.

Mass has been set for 10 am, Friday August 30, 2019 at Santa Rosa de Lima Catholic Church.

Burial will follow at Greenwood cemetery.
