Josefina Maynez, 77, passed away on Friday, August 11, 2023 in Artisia New Mexico. Josefina was born on September 16, 1945 in Alamos De San Antonio, Chihuahua Mexico to Jose Rodriguez and Blaza Garza. Josefina meet the love of her life and married Manuel Maynez on October 12, 1963. She was a devoted Catholic, loved to sing in the choir, and go to the Casinos. She will be dearly missed by her sons, daughters, and Grandchildren and Great Grandchildren.
Josefina Maynez is preceded in death by her husband Manuel Maynez, parents Jose Rodriguez and Blaza Garza, sons Francisco Javier Myanez I, Francisco Javier Maynez II, Nolberto Salgado, Great Grandaughter Danica Maynez, Great Grandsons Jayden Sotelo, and Javier Maynez.
Josefina Maynez is survived by Sons; Jose Maynez of Pecos, Tx., Juan Carlos Maynez (Neyrel) of Gonzales Louisianna, Alfredo Maynez of Odessa, Tx., Daughters; Mirna Maynez (Benancio) of Pecos, Tx., Hermila Sotelo (Artemio) of Artesia New Mexico, Ana Luisa Maynez of Ojinaga Mx., and Sister; Enriqueta Rios, and Brother; Jose Raudales, 24 Grandchildren, and 21 Great Grandchildren.
Visitation will be held at Pecos Funeral home on Friday August, 18 2023 from 9 am. to 9 pm. Rosary will be at 7 pm. as well.
Burial will be at the Jardines De San Jose in Ojinaga, Mexico, at a later date.
