Jose Martinez

Jose Luis Martinez 42 of Pecos, Texas passed away Saturday, September 7, 2019 at his residence, he was born in Rockford, Illnois, he was born to Eugenio and Genoveva Martinez on June 18, 1977.

Visitation will be on Thursday from 1pm to 9pm, with a prayer service at 7:30pm at Peaceful Garden Funeral Home Chapel.

Church service will be held Friday September 13, 2019 at 2:00 pm at Inglesia Emmanuel,, with Pastor Carlos Porras officiating, burial will follow at Mt. Evergreen Cemetery. He went to school to in Edinburg, Texas. Jose was married to Marissa Garza, he was a very dedicated father to his children. Even though he did not have much, he tried to help others how he could. Even though life gave a lot of obstacles, he still didn’t give up. Jose Luis is preceded in death by his father Eugenio Martinez and his wife Marissa Garza.

Jose Luis is survived by his mother Genoveva and his step-father Manuel Nieto of Pecos, Texas, his children twins Cody and Corey Martinez of Rockford, Ill., twin Izabella Martinez and twin brother Tony Martinez of Rockford, Ill., and Esmeralda Martinez, and step-daughter Jazlyn Garza of Pecos, Texas.. He is also survived by his older brother Eugenio Jr. Martinez of Rockford, Ill., sisters Ruby Contreras and husband Gilbert Contreras of Pecos, Texas, Debbie Hernandez and husband Hilario Hernandez of Rankin, Texas, step-brother Ruben Nieto and step-sisters Elva and Gloria Nieto, and also survived by numerous nieces and nephews.
