Jesus Gochicoa

Jesus “Chuchi” Levario Gochicoa, 73, passed away on March 24, 2021.

He was born on May 27, 1947, in Pecos, Texas to Alberto Gochicoa and Alta Gracia Levario Gochicoa. He attended Santa Rosa De Lima Catholic School. He married Natividad Bustamante. He was a carpenter by trade and a Chicano Culture Artist.

He is preceded in death by one son, Hubert Gochicoa, his parents Alberto and Alta Gracia Gochicoa, brothers and sisters Alberto “Chino” Gochicoa, III, Frances Gochicoa, Jose Gochicoa and George Gochicoa.

He is survived by 4 daughters, Christina and Juan Vasquez, Criselda Gochicoa, Crystal and Edward Lujan and Mary Ann and Chris Machuca. He is also survived by numerous brothers and sisters, Hilberto and Teresa Gochicoa, Natividad Abila, Virginia Natividad, Juan and Irma Gochicoa, Mary and Roy Pena, Ramona and Ernesto Galindo, William Gochicoa, Juanita Trevino, Peter Gochicoa and Carmen and Edward Palomino.
He is also survived by 9 grandchildren and 8 great-grandchildren.

Pallbearers will be his grandsons Rudy DeAnda, Anthony and Jesse Montanez, John Vasquez and Christopher and Zachary Bowers.

The family would like to thank all our loved ones and family and friends for their love, prayers and donations during our most difficult time.

Visitation will be held at Pecos Funeral Home from 5pm to 9pm. Thursday March 25, 2021 with rosary at 7pm.
Funeral Mass will be Friday March 26, 2021 at 10 am. at Santa Rosa Catholic Church.

Family and friends will need to be at the church at 9 am. so they can be seated requested by the church. Only Immediate family, Pallbearers are to be at the Funeral home Friday morning.  Mask and Social Distancing are required at all times.

Interment will follow at the Santa Rosa Cemetery.

Services are under the direction of Peaceful Garden Funeral Home.
