Isabel Cadena Salmon 72 of Pecos passed away Wednesday May 6, 2020 at her residence. She was born November 19, 1947 in Grandfalls, Tx. to Librado and Maria Granado Cadena. She was a Christian Catholic and a homemaker. She was married to Antonio Salmon until his passing April 6, 2017. Mom loved to dance and cook. She loved playing the slots machine known to her as the ‘Maqiunitas’ and loved the colors burgundy, red and black. Most of all she loved her grandchildren mom you will be dearly missed.
She is preceded in death by her parents, husband Antonio Salmon, son David Torres, granddaughter Dorina Rodriguez, sisters Tomasa Vasquez and Nancy Acosta, and brothers Macario, Emeterio and Carlos Cadena.
Isabel is survived by her son Israel Vargas of Monahans, daughters Patricia C. Diego and husband Emilio of Pecos, sisters Lucia Prieto of Lubbock, Francisca Dominguez and husband Eduardo of Crane, Sabastiana Acosta and Rosa Williams both of Grandfalls.
Isabel also leaves to cherish her memory 8 grandchildren and 5 great-grandchildren.
Due to COVID-19 visitation is set for 25 persons only Monday May 11, 2020 from 9am-4pm with prayers being recited at 2pm at Pecos Funeral Home Chapel.
Graveside services are set for 11amTuesday May 12, 2020 at Greenwood cemetery with Father Jose Dela Cruz officiating.
Social distancing is recommended.
Pallbearers will be Rey Jordan Corella, Jovan Corella, Javen Corella, Seth Vargas, Isaac Rodriguez and Roy Vasquez Jr.
