Guadalupe Ortega

Guadalupe Ortega, 82, of Pecos passed away on February 2, 2023 in Pecos. Guadalupe was born in Chihuahua Mexico to Liberto and Beatrice on October15, 1940. He married Irma Tarango on April 1, 1974 in Pecos TX.

Guadalupe is preceded in death by his wife Irma Ortega and 8 siblings.

Guadalupe is survived by 5 children Dolores Ortega from Cleveland TX, Guadalupe Ortega Jr from Barstow TX and Blanca Estella Mendoza, Ruben Ortega, and Cynthia Sandoval from Pecos TX. A brother Liberato Ortega from Chihuahua MX. And a total of 12 grandchildren and 20 great grandchildren. The family of Guadalupe wishes to extend our sincere thanks to Reeve’s County Hospital, Pecos Nursing Home and Pecos Funeral Home. And a total of 12 grandchildren and 20 great grandchildren. Visitation will be held on Saturday, February 4, 2023 from 10:00 am - 9:00 pm and Sunday, February 5, 2023 from 1:00 pm - 9:00 pm. A Chapel service will be held on Sunday, February 5, 2023 at 500 pm at Peaceful Garden Funeral Home. Burial will follow at a later date.
