Gilbert Martinez

Gilbert Martinez, 46 of Pecos, TX, passed away on Saturday, June 25, 2022 in Odessa, TX. Gilbert was born November 16, 1975 to Joe and Socorro Martinez. He enjoyed spending time with family and friends. Gilbert was a longtime Pecos resident.

He is preceded in death by his father Joe Martinez; maternal grandparents Melchor and Margarita Chavez; paternal grandparents Juan Martinez and Alicia Chavez.

Gilbert is survived by two children Nathaniel and Julianna Martinez; mother Socorro Martinez; brother Gabriel and Crissy Martinez; sister Angela and Ramiro Canales; three nephews Alex Morales, Christopher Martinez, Matthew Martinez; two great nieces Bella and Kinslee Morales.

Pallbearers will be Timmy Garcia, Samuel Chavez, Johnny Muniz, Luis Galindo, Jamie Mendoza, Jason Abila and John Garza.

Visitation will be held on Thursday, June30, 2022 at Peaceful Garden Funeral Home from 9 am to 9 pm with Rosary at 7 pm. Funeral service will be at Santa Rosa De Lima Catholic Church at 10 am. Interment will follow at Mt. Evergreen Cemetery.
