Evangelina Sotelo

Evangelina S. Sotelo 76 of Pecos passed away Monday March 23, 2020 at her residence. She was born May 2, 1943 in Vado De Piedra Ojinaga Chihuahua, Mexico to Fortino Sandoval and Geronima Palma Sandoval. She married Pablo Carrasco Sotelo December 2, 1961 in Ojinaga, Chihuahua Mexico. She was a homemaker and a Christian catholic.

Mom enjoyed cooking, tending to her plants she was very good at that considered to have a green thumb. She loved her family and especially her grandchildren very much, she was a giving of herself type of person, loved to give more than to receive things, you would never leave her house empty handed. Mom you will be dearly missed.

She is preceded in death by parents, sister Liria Olivas, brothers Daniel, Marcos and Martin Sandoval.

She is survived by her husband Pablo C. Sotelo of Pecos, daughters Olga S. Rodriguez and husband Carlos of Lubbock, Ofelia S. Zapata and husband Leonel of Midland, and Eva Sotelo and Johnny Vasquez of Pecos. sons Pablo Sotelo Jr and wife Guadalupe of Lovington, N Mx., Pedro Sotelo and wife Catrina of Midland, Enrique Sotelo and wife Lorena of Odessa, and Joel Sotelo and wife Rachel of Midland. Sister Hermilla Carrasco and husband Silvestre of Pecos, brothers Gonzalo Sandoval and wife Emeteria of Pecos, Federico Sandoval of Lovington, N Mx, Benino Sandoval and wife Carmen of Andrews.

Evangelina leaves to cherish her memory 22 grandchildren with one on the way and 17 great grandchildren and one on the way. 1 great-great grandson, and numerous nieces and nephews.

Visitation is set for Wednesday March 25, 2020 at the residence 422 N Willow St. Pecos, Texas 79772 from 1pm-9pm with a prayer service at 6pm. with a rosary to follow.

Graveside service are set for 10am Thursday March 26, 2020 at Mount Evergreen cemetery with Father Jose Dela Cruz officiating.
