Consuelo M. Venzor

Consuelo M. Venzor, 89, of Pecos passed away on March 24th, 2025 in Lubbock after a short illness.

Visitation will be from 2:00 pm to 9:00 pm on Thursday, March 27th at Peaceful Garden Funeral Home. Rosary will be at 7pm at the same location.

Funeral services will be held at 2:00 pm on Friday, March 28th at Santa Rosa Catholic Church. Burial will follow at Green Wood Cemetery. Arrangements are by Peaceful Garden Funeral Home.

Consuelo Venzor was born in Mexico to Ambrosio and Amparo Martinez on June 7, 1935. She married Leonardo Venzor in El Paso, Texas in 1966. They made Pecos their home the past 57 years. Consuelo loved all the people of Pecos and took great joy in visiting with her friends, neighbors, and everyone that she saw in town.

Consuelo is preceded in death by her husband, parents, siblings and son-in- law. Consuelo is survived by her children Maria (Richard), Gloria, Leonardo Jr and 7 grandchildren.
