Consuelo G. Ortega

Consuelo Garcia Ortega, 94 passed away on Thursday, July 11, 2024 in Lubbock, Tx. Consuelo was born on March 6, 1930 to Jesus Garcia and Cista Carrasco in Vado De Piedra Mexico. Consuelo married Jesus Ortega in 1960 she lived a long life in the ranch worked the agriculture field for several years.

Consuelo G. Ortega is preceded in death by her husband Jesus Ortega, her sons Hector Carrasco, Rojelio Carrasco, and parents Jesus Garcia and Cista Carrasco.

Consuelo G. Ortega is survived by he sons; Lorenzo Carrasco, Mario Ortega and daughter Adela Garcia, 13 grandchildren and 24 great grandchildren.

Pallbearers will be Enrique Carrasco, Noe Carrasco, Elyan Carrasco, Eric Carrasco, Mario Ortega, and Alberto Carrasco.

Visitation will be held Monday, July 15, 2024 from 1 pm to 9 pm and Peaceful Garden Funeral Home, and Tuesday July 16, 2024 from 9 am to 9 pm with Rosary at 7 pm.

Funeral Mass will be on Wednesday, July17, 2024 at 10 am at St. Catherine's Catholic Church, with Interment following at 2260 Barilla Rd (Greenacre) in Pecos, Tx.
