Catarina Ornelas

Catarina Ornelas, 72 beloved Mother, was called to eternal resting place on September 14, 2020.

She entered this world on April 2, 1948 in Mulato, Mexico born to Roman and Juventina Chavez Ornelas. She is preceded in death by her parents, and son; Leonel Ornelas.

Catarina is survived by her husband Santiago Ornelas, sons; Daniel (Crissy) Ornelas, Santiago "Jimmy" (Claudia) Ornelas, and Jesse Ornelas, six grandchildren and 13 great-grandchildren.

Catarina enjoyed spending time with her family, and telling old stories of her family and youth.

Visitation will be Thursday, September 17, 2020 from 9 A.M. until 4 P.M. at Peaceful Garden Funeral Home, on 116 w. 4th. St., Pecos, Texas 79772. Graveside services will be Friday September 18, 2020 at 2 P.M. at Greenwood Cemetery.

Pallbearers are; Lupe Garza, Esmeralda Garza, Luke Castro, Marissa Castro, Phillip Millan, Ethan Millan, T.J. Ornelas, and Jaime Contreras.

Due to the COVID-19, the visitation will be limited to 40 members of the family only, and all entering the funeral home must wear masks and use proper social distancing. Graveside services are open for the public, however masks are required and social distancing is requested by the family.
