Betty Hall

Betty Mae Hall, 81 of Pecos, Tx went to be with our Lord and savior December 12, 2019 surrounded by those she loved most. Betty was born in Pecos, Texas at her grandmother Rosie Mae Minter's (Sugababe) home to L.C. and C.R. Bolton September 16, 1938. Betty attended Pecos High School. She married Don Lee Hall November 5th, 1961.

Betty had an immense love for her children would never miss the opportunity to be around them be it cooking, fishing, or simply doing word search games together. She was an avid lover of the San Antonio Spurs and all her dogs. She always sacrificed her needs for the good of her family. Betty loved listening to music and would enjoy a good laugh with friends while sitting on her porch.

She will be remembered as a selfless, altruistic wife  and mother who always had a smile, even when times were tough. Betty had a quiet strength never complained and always looked to a better future. Above all she was a loving mother, grandmother, and great grandmother.

Betty is preceded in death by her parents L.C and Catherine Choice Bolton, son Maurice Bolton, and great grandson Shon Kristopher Beck.  Betty leaves behind to cherish her memory her husband of 58 years Don Lee Hall, daughter Sharon Bolton, son Curtis Johnson (Ginger), David Johnson, Larry Johnson Bobby Johnson, Michael Hall, and Jimmy Hall. Additionally, Betty leaves behind 18 grandchildren and 12 great grandchildren.

A memorial service of remembrance will be held Saturday December 21, 2019 at 2p.m. at Pecos Funeral Home in Pecos, Texas. Repass to follow at St. James Baptist Church Cafeteria. The family would like to extend their gratitude to those who have called or come by. Betty was an angel to any and all who knew her, and she will truly be missed.
