Benny Paul Lyles

Benny Lyles, 79, of Pecos, TX, passed away on September 1st, 2023 in Pecos, TX.

Benny was born in Balmorhea, TX to Ben and Anita lyles on December 22, 1943. He Married Louisa Lyles on September 19,1 963. Benny worked as a mechanic for GSI for several years, and also as a truck driver for Rapid Transport until his retirement.  

Benny is preceded in death by his parents Ben and Anita Lyles, his wife Louise Lyles and Sister Mary Harrison.

Benny is survived by Daughters, Peggy Salcido (Russ), and Dolores Lyles. Son Benjamin Michael Lyles (Janette). Sister Ida Alvarez. Grandchildren Ashley Salcido, Desi Alvarez, Allyson Padilla, Diahnn Gutierrez, NIchlas Lyles, Chelsea Lyles. Great Grandchildren Mia Lyles, Nicholas Lyles, Milani Lyles, Ozzy Sanchez, Aria Padilla and Inez Gutierrez.

A Rosary will be held on Friday, September 8, 2023 at 1:00pm at St. Catherine de Siena Catholic Church in Pecos.

Funeral Mass will celebrated on Friday September 8, 2023 at 2:00pm at St. Catherine de Siena Catholic Church in Pecos with Fabian Marquez officiating.

Burial will follow the mass at Mt. Evergreen Cemetery.
