Arnulfo H. Granado Sr.

Pecos, Texas

Arnulfo H. Granado Sr., 94, passed away peacefully in the comfort of his home surrounded by his family. He was born on December 10, 1929 in Miami , Arizona to Simon Granado Sr., and Loretto Hernandez Granado. Arnulfo lived a long full life of great passion for his family, work, and his fervent projects. He loved his children dearly, and most certainly his grandchildren, he loved sports and was a big Dallas Cowboys fan! He also loved Boxing, and was a Constable in the 1990's. Arnulfo was truly one of a kind and his warmth and kindness will never be forgotten. He was the greatest example of strength and kindness who's faith was always a shining light to all and his memory will always be cherished, his wisdom and love will truly continue to to inspire for generations to come and his legacy will live through us all. 

"Your love was a gift and we are forever grateful for every moment we spent with you, your spirit and laughter will forever brighten our hearts and memories." May the Lord bestow upon your soul eternal rest and welcome you into his heavenly kingdom. Prayer for our faithful departed eternal rest grant unto them. O Lord, let the perpetual light shine upon them. May their souls and the souls of all the faithful departed through the Mercy of God, Rest in Peace Amen.

Isaiah 41:10 Do not fear; I am with you; do not be anxious; I am your God. I will strengthen you, I will help you. I will uphold you my victorious right hand.

Arnulfo H. Granado Sr. is preceded in death by his wife Ramona N. Granado, son Ernesto Granado, his parents Simon and Loretto H. Granado, and 5 brothers, and 3 sisters.

Arnulfo H. Granado Sr., is survived by his children; Mr & Mrs. Arnulfo Granado Jr., of Pecos, Tx., Mr. & Mrs. Hector Granado of Odessa, Tx., Leticia Granado and Mario Trejo of Odessa, Tx., and Jesus Villescas of Odessa, Tx. Brother Oscar Granado of Pecos, Tx., 21 Grandchildren, 37 Great Grandchildren, and 17 Great Great Grandchildren.

Pallbearers will be Hector Granado Jr., Angel Granado, "Bam" Arnulfo Granado III, Raul Granado, Robert McCartney, Roman McCartney, Stephen Dominguez, and Adrian Garcia Jr.

Visitation will be held at Peaceful Garden Funeral Home on Monday, May 27, 2024 from 9 am to 9 pm with Rosary at 7 pm.

Funeral Mass will be held at Santa Rosa De Lima Catholic Church on Tuesday, May 28, 2024 at 10 am., Interment will follow at Mt. Evergreen Cemetery.

The Family of Arnulfo Granado Sr. wishes to extend our sincere thanks to Reeves Regional Health, Home Health Hospice, Santa Rosa De Lima Catholic Church, Dr. Cerna, Pecos and Peaceful Garden Funeral Homes staff, and all family and friends who helped during his last days, and everyone's prayers, to everyone who sent flowers, food during our difficult time.
